When BONE FOAM™ positioning pieces are utilized on the sterile field, it is essential that an easy system for sterile isolation be in place. Specifically, the pieces that usually are not placed beneath a sterile drape are the obtuse and actue knee wedges, as well as the different sized bumps. It is suggested that sterile bags be used to isolate these pieces.
